I am retired and live in Florida. My wife got an e-bike and I tried to ride with her on an 18speed mountain bike. Going into the wind and hills (yes we have hills) was too much. I’m 62 and did a ton of research before buying. I bought the RX80 and love it. I’m 6’4” and this bike fits me way better than most. No more back issues or cramps while riding.
The torque is amazing. I ride both on paved and unpaved trails and this bike handles it all. I thought the big tires would be too noisy on the pavement, but they are fine. Speeds and range are as advertised. Love this bike.
This is my first ebike and I have to say I am very pleased. Up to 30mph on the flats with pedal assist and I got up to 29 on electric only. The only thing I can say that needs improvement is the delay in pedaling VS when the motor kicks in for pedal assist and the actual battery life isn't near what it's advertised to be. Other than that, this thing is a tank and I can't wait to take it out into the desert when it isn't 120 degrees.
I was amazed at the quality of the packaging. Zero rub marks or damage. I inspected the weld quality and it is excellent. The ride is a bit stiff but the bike isn't broken in at all so I expect that will loosen up. The RX80 is a superior value for the dollar and very powerful. Don't hesitate to buy one of these! Communication was great and fast delivery. This bike kicks butt!
Really been enjoying the first hundred miles on the sidewalks down here in nags head North Carolina. Can’t wait to get it home and get it in the woods on some trails.
